Clive is a founding Director of the Australian business and the lead Director across state and federal government, not for profit and complex corporate appointments. Clive has over 20 years’ experience delivering merit-based, transparent, auditable processes across State and Federal Government, State Owned Corporations, Government Owned Corporations and Commonwealth Entities.

He is regarded as one of the country’s leading search consultants across the sectors of Social Infrastructure (Health, Education, Social Housing), Infrastructure (Transport, Energy, Utilities) Planning, Property and Place. In addition to executing retained search and permanent recruitment, he also manages all Capstone Board and Advisory appointments in the public and private sectors. Clive trained as an accountant before starting his career in recruitment. 

Over the last 25 years I’ve built my executive search and recruitment practice on a different premise — that getting leadership appointments right in government requires rigour, not just relationships.

I work with CEOs, Directors, and Boards on their most consequential people decisions. My work is framed by on the ground executive leadership experience in highly complex environment’s, and is combined with first hand exposure to both Local and State Government.

My approach combines competency-based leadership assessment and psychometric science with the contextual understanding that only comes from working inside the sector.

MBA qualified, with research focused specifically on government sector recruitment, I am a Member of the Executive Management Council of Australia and graduate of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
