With a strong pipeline of work and an ambitious growth agenda, the business is looking for an accomplished facades leader to take its New Zealand offering to the next level.
This is not a back-office technical role. This is a genuine opportunity to build a team, grow a pipeline, and become the face of facades engineering in the New Zealand market.
What you will be doing:
You will combine strong technical expertise with real commercial acumen, leading a growing facades team and actively winning work across the New Zealand market. You will mentor your team, uphold technical standards, and act as a key client contact, drawing on your established relationships with architects, developers, and contractors to grow the business's facades pipeline.
You will work closely with the ANZ Discipline Director and have the backing of a broader ANZ platform, giving you access to specialist expertise and the scale to compete for the most complex and high-profile facades work in the market.
What we are looking for:
A facades engineering professional with a proven track record across complex cladding systems, including unitised curtain wall and structural glazing, with a sound understanding of New Zealand seismic requirements. You will likely come from a specialist facades consultancy or a multidisciplinary engineering firm.
You will have:
- A strong technical background across complex facades and cladding systems
- Commercial acumen and the ability to win and grow client relationships
- An established network across architects, developers, and contractors
- The leadership skills to mentor and develop a high-performing team
- A genuine interest in growing a business, not just delivering projects
