Capstone Recruitment is partnering with a significant development group to appoint a Development Manager to join the team delivering a landmark 18.5-hectare masterplanned community in Sydney's south west. The precinct will ultimately deliver up to 1,625 homes alongside new parks, a station arrival plaza, walking and cycling connections, and extensive open space.
This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in delivering critical infrastructure and public domain outcomes while also supporting the divestment of development superlots to the private sector , helping bring the next stages of the community to life.
Working within an experienced and collaborative development team, you'll take ownership of a range of major work packages including superlot subdivisions, parks and open space, landscaping, road and civil infrastructure, and the delivery of a new pedestrian footbridge. You'll manage projects from planning and approvals through procurement, delivery and completion, while also working with internal stakeholders and external development partners to prepare, market and divest serviced development sites.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the delivery of superlot subdivision packages and associated civil infrastructure.
- Lead the planning and delivery of parks, landscaping and public domain works.
- Oversee the delivery of a new pedestrian footbridge and supporting infrastructure.
- Coordinate the preparation and divestment of development superlots to private sector developers, including supporting due diligence, transaction processes and stakeholder engagement.
- Manage project budgets, programmes, risks and procurement processes.
- Coordinate consultants, contractors, government authorities and development partners to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Support commercial decision-making, reporting and stakeholder engagement throughout the development lifecycle.
- Experience delivering land subdivision, civil infrastructure or masterplanned community projects on the client side.
- Exposure to development site sales, superlot divestments, acquisitions or transaction processes will be highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of development approvals, design management and project delivery.
- Commercially astute with excellent stakeholder and consultant management skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects while maintaining programme, budget and quality outcomes.
